Ba Dinh Square is the largest square in Vietnam , located on Hung Vuong street in the West Gate of the ancient city of Hanoi. West of Ba Dinh Square borders Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the North is bordered by the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Office, to the East by the Ba Dinh Hall, to the southeast by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

- Hot season (from 01 April to 31 October):

+ Time from 7 hours 30 minutes to 10 hours 30 minutes.

Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 7 hours 30 minutes to 11 hours.

- The cold season is from November 1 to March 31 of the following year):

+ Time from 8 hours to 11 hours.

Mausoleum is closed Monday and Friday.

Uncle Ho Mausoleum welcome guests at what time?

Maintenance, renovation of  the Presidential Tomb  and the Monument take place every year, usually after the National Day, lasting two to three months.

According to the usual schedule, after September 5 to December 5, Uncle Ho's mausoleum will stop for visitors to renovate. 2017 is no exception.

 

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum , Memorial Heroes Martyrs will stop the ceremony, memorial service maintenance from 4/9 to 4/12. Activities will continue from 5 December.

One Pillar Pagoda

One Pillar Pagoda - a unique ancient architecture located in the area of ​​Ba Dinh Square is one of the most beautiful tourist sites in Hanoi. It was built in 1049 (Ly dynasty). It was repaired and restored many times. Until 1955, the pagoda was rebuilt in the same way as the original.

 

The most impressive point of the One Pillar Pagoda is the floating pagoda, which looks like a lotus growing up from the lake, shining brightly in the morning sunshine. Inside the pagoda is a statue of Buddha sitting on a wooden lotus lacquer gold, in the highest position.
